Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

Most of our business is title insurance. As part of our business, we collect information about you, including your name, address, and telephone number, as well as information about your transaction, such as the address of the real property you are buying or financing. We obtain copies of deeds, notes, mortgages, and other liens involving your transaction. We may get this information from you, from a lender, from an attorney, or from a real estate broker. Other information, which we need to prepare a title insurance report and then a policy, is obtained from public records about the property. In addition, as part of the closing/settlement service, we require the Social Security Numbers of all parties involved in the transaction.

As part of our service to you, we may have occasion to get copies of appraisals, credit reports, land surveys, or escrow account balances to facilitate the transaction. If you are in any way concerned about the information we have collected, please write to us.

How we use this information.

Our policy is never to share your information, which we consider highly confidential, with marketers or outside vendors. Unless your release of information is authorized or permitted by privacy laws, we hold all nonpublic personal information in the strictest confidence.

How we protect your information.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to only those parties who need the information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with the law to guard your nonpublic personal information.

We reinforce the company's privacy policy with our employees and with all non-employee agents who deal with us.

Purpose of this notice.

Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Billey Act (The GLBA) requires us to communicate our Privacy Policy to all parties we do business with.
